Job Duties:

The Commercial and Residential Housekeeper maintains cleanliness and order in commercial buildings and private residences in Jackson, Wyoming. This role includes cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing various areas to ensure a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for clients and visitors. Beneficiaries' key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, offices, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas. They also dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; shampoo carpets as needed; empty trash cans; and replace liners. They also change bed linens, make beds, and replenish toiletries and other supplies. Beneficiaries maintain cleaning equipment and supplies by using appropriate equipment according to safety guidelines, maintaining and storing cleaning equipment properly, and replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, towels, and cleaning products. Beneficiaries inspect and report their assigned areas for cleanliness and ensure tasks are completed to standards. They report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor. They also notify the supervisor of any supply shortages or equipment malfunctions. Beneficiaries may interact with customers. Customer Service duties include interacting professionally and courteously with clients, building occupants, and visitors. Respond to requests and inquiries promptly and effectively. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing specific cleaning needs and preferences. Beneficiaries must comply with all safety standards, including following health and safety regulations and correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE). They must also adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning and sanitation and participate in company-provided training programs and safety meetings. Beneficiaries' skills needed in these positions include knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures, ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners, strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks, good time management and organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements for this position include lifting and carrying at least 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
