Job Duties:

This role involves traveling between locations (such as vacation homes, work camps, or hunting lodges) to perform general cleaning duties and prepare simple meals. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in various environments. Key Responsibilities include travel to assigned locations according to schedule or employer needs. Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms. Launder, fold, and organize linens and clothing as needed. Prepare light meals, snacks, and beverages based on provided menus or preferences. Ensure cleanliness and safety of food preparation areas. Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times. Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages. Primary duties include cleaning and sanitizing shared living spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and sleeping quarters. Daily upkeep includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Deep clean housing units weekly or between occupants. Change and launder bed linens and towels. Monitor cleaning supply levels and restock as needed. Cooking Tasks include following basic meal plans or cooking family-style dishes (soups, stews, rice, grilled meats, vegetables). Maintain cleanliness of cooking areas, including stove, counters, and refrigerator. Store leftovers properly and manage food waste.

Special Requirements:

Applicant must have at least three months of experience working in a hunting lodge. Applicants must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 50 lbs. Workers may work one of two shifts: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work schedules may vary based on employer needs, weather conditions, or lodging occupancy. Work on weekends or holidays may be required depending on operational demands or weather delays.
