Job Duties:
Recreational Leaders will assist staff in preparing recreational facilities for inspection by the Health Department by inspecting the cleanliness of the facilities and maintaining the quality of pool water by testing chemical levels in the Spring months. Once the facilities open to the public in the summer months, Recreational Leaders will continue to ensure the cleanliness and maintain the pools’ water quality. In addition, they will be responsible for providing leadership in the recreational facilities managed by United Pool Management LLC by patrolling and monitoring swim areas and enforcing facilities' rules. These workers will observe the activities of swimming facilities to prevent and detect hazards and will promote the safety of the pools and surrounding areas. They will use specialized knowledge and skills in CPR, First Aid, personal safety, and swimming instruction to ensure the safety of patrons. Recreational Leaders will assist Recreational Workers in promoting safety in the facilities and perform additional related duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain lifeguard certification. Employer will provide assistance with obtaining certification. F.a.5 A-H. (continued): 8-hour workday. Monday - Friday - 9AM to 5PM. OT hours possible.
