Job Duties:

Prepare construction site where concrete will bepoured, set, and align concrete. Workers will lift and maneuver concrete forms into place using manual labor and skid steers. Workers will use tools such as hammers, saws, tape measures, and string lines to manipulate forming material for concrete to be poured. Workers will also use rakes, shovels, and screed boards to place concrete over subgrade and inside forming material. Will use bull floats, steel trowels, and finishing brooms to smooth and finish concrete surfaces. May use gas and battery-powered saws, wire ties and tiers to install steel and fiberglass rebar reinforcement in concrete forms and cut control joints in concrete. Workers will operate a power trowel to smooth, level, and polish concrete surfaces. Tear down concrete forms using hammers, pliers, stake pullers, and scrapers to clean-up construction site. Prepare forms to be picked up from construction site to next job site.
