Job Duties:

Help experienced roofers by performing duties requiring little or no direct roofing experience observing all safety rules including proper use of PPE. Assist experienced roofers in cleaning a roof, helping with removal of defective roofing material, delivering roofing material to roofers and crew leaders. Assist experienced roofers by holding and/or moving tools and materials.  Be exposed to the use of basic hand tools used in roofing (hammers; screw gun; simple saw; scissors; leaf blowers; brooms, wheelbarrows).  Exposure to basic tasks associated with the removal/installation/repair of roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, BOD BIT, BUR, shingles, roofing felt, and other roofing systems. Work under direct supervision, receiving assignments from roofers and crew leaders. Follow the instructions of more experienced roofers.

Must be able to climb ladders. Must be unafraid of working at high elevations. Must be able to work in high heat conditions and perform physically repetitive movements (bending, climbing, kneeling). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
