- Job Duties:
- Load, unload, and transport tent equipment and materials on and off delivery trucks at the warehouse and event sites. Assemble, install, and secure tents and related rental equipment such as poles, frames, stakes, sidewalls, flooring, and lighting according to layout specifications and safety standards. Inspect equipment for damage and ensure proper installation and stability. Dismantle, pack, and return tent materials and equipment to the warehouse following events. Maintain tools and supplies in clean and organized condition. Follow all safety procedures while performing physical labor including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate setup and breakdown of event tents.
Employees will work 6 days/wk but days of the week will vary weekly.
Up to 10 - 20 hours of overtime/wk possible.
Employees must be able to commit to entire period of need. Will train.
Pay will be within range $22.56 -$25.00 based upon performance at employers discretion
Possible bonuses based upon performance at employer's discretion.
Employer will make all deductions from paycheck as required by law. A standard work week will be used to compute wages. Employer will provide employee(s), without charge or deposit charge any tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k).
Employee will be reimbursed for initial inbound subsistence and transportation after 50% of employment period is completed. Upon completion of the period of need, or if employee is dismissed early, employer will pay for workers reasonable costs and subsistence of outbound, return, transportation back to where employee came from, unless the employee does not return. The amount of transportation reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence for travel will be provided at a rate of $16.28/day up to a max of $68.00/day with proof by receipts. Employees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period to the total employment period.
