Job Duties:
Workers smooth, finish, and cure poured concrete surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, curbs, roads, pads, and related structures. Duties include setting, aligning, and securing forms to required grade; spreading, leveling, and shaping concrete using hand tools and power tools; and applying finishing techniques such as floating, troweling, edging, and brushing. Workers patch voids, repair imperfections, and use hand or power saws to cut control and expansion joints as directed. Additional tasks include preparing work areas, cleaning tools, maintaining a safe and organized jobsite, read/interpret blueprints and instructions to accurately measure, mark, and arrange materials. Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and install equipment securely. Join materials efficiently and ensure work accuracy. All work is performed under supervision and according to project specifications.

Special Requirements:
Requires three months of Concrete Finisher experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Work may take place in indoor or outdoor environments and in various weather conditions. Workers must be able to stand, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety guidelines is mandatory. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
