- Job Duties:
- Surface Preparation: Smooth, polish and finish iron and metal surficeses using hand tools. Defect Identification: Inspect metal surfaces for defects and imperfections such as dents or rough spots and ensure high-quality finishing. Safety Compliance: Follow safety procols when handling heavy materials and operating equpment, using protective gear and safe workspace. Material Handling: Operate machinery and tools to shape, sand, and refine the surface of ornamental ironworks, such as fences, railings, and custom metal items. Collaboration: Work alongside welders and fabricators to ensure smooth transitions between assembly and final finishing.
