Job Duties:
The chef prepares fresh, often local, meals in the form of packed breakfasts and lunches for anglers, which aims to not just be a simple deli meal. In addition, the chef is involved with managing food preparations, plating, and cleanup while ensuring strict hygiene, handling inventory and ordering of food, beverages, and paper products, and finally, preparing evening and serving evening meals for angler guests in a historic fly-fishing lodge in a remote Montana town. The evening dining experience is the primary focus of the position, where a limited number of guests experience a rotating evening menu that the chef’s prepares, all of which is designed to provide anglers from all over the United States and the world, a first class dining experience and interaction with the knowledgeable chef. The chef must have knowledge and experience fly fishing, in addition to cooking skills, as to hold conversations with the guests. Chef must also be able to cook cuisines from around the world, so that anglers can enjoy specialty meals, such as Argentinean specials.

Special Requirements:
The employee must be knowledgeable about fly fishing as well as cooking. The cook must be able to preform inventory counts and ordering of supplies. He or she must also be able to prepare healthy, well-cooked meals that impress guests. The cook must be able to converse with guest from around the United States and the world about fly fishing. The cook must be able to prepare foods from around the world so guest can enjoy theme nights.
