- Job Duties:
- Repair and install the roofs of buildings and residences using a variety of materials, including shingles, asphalt, and metal. Tear off existing roofing materials to the decking(plywood) and joists; replace damaged or rotting plywood or joists; install vapor barriers or layers of insulation per roof plant specifications; install shingles, asphalt, metal, or other materials per roofing plans specific cations; align roofing materials with edges of the roof; cut roofing materials to fit around walls or vents; and collect and dispose of roofing material waste and debris. Perform other repair tasks at worksite in connection with, or ancillary to, roofing projects such as gutters, windows, etc.
