- Job Duties:
- Help production workers at grain and seed processing plant by performing duties of lesser skill. Prepare wheat, oats, barley, millet, triticale, peas, rapeseed, and other like commodities for processing by cleaning the seeds for the lead production workers. Load and unload seeds from machines and conveyors. Assist machine operators as needed. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions. Remove bad seeds and waste material from machines. Transfer seeds, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses. Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. Under the direction of lead production workers, mark or tag identification on parts and/or labeling and tagging of packaged products. Clean and lubricate equipment. Perform minor repairs to machines, such as replacing damaged or worn parts. Position spouts or chutes of storage bins so that containers can be filled. Wash work areas, machines and equipment and perform general grounds upkeep.

- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, 50yds. Must be able to endure dusty environments, prolonged standing, and frequent bending throughout the workday. Some weekend work. Will travel to worksites within the area of intended employment.
