- Job Duties:
- Snow removal, grounds maintenance, litter cleanup, and other duties as assigned related to facilities maintenance, such as clearing leaves, snow, or debris using hand tools or power equipment including but not limited to rakes, shovels, and snow/leaf blowers. Irrigation system winterization and activation. Removal or replacement of dead vegetation. Potential for fall and spring leaf clean-up, dormant pruning, perennial planting, leaf removal and landscape bed mulching. Tree and bush pruning. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots for various residential, municipal and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms and shovels, and spreading deicing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt. May also use a walk behind electric or gas snow blower, as needed. May drive crew vehicles as needed.

- MUST BE 18 DUE TO INSURANCE. MUST SHOW PROOF OF LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES. DRUG/ALCOHOL/TOBACCO FREE WORK ZONE. PERFORM PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: SUCH AS LIFT, BALANCE, WALK, STOOP, HANDLE, POSITION, MOVE, MANIPULATE MATERIALS USE STATIC STRENGTH TO EXERT MAXIMUM MUSCLE FORCE TO LIFT, PUSH, PULL, CARRY OBJECTS UP TO 50LBS. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE, WILLING, QUALIFIED TO PERFORM WORK DESCRIBED AND MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD SPECIFIED. OUTDOORS, EXPOSED TO WEATHER; MUST BE CAPABLE OF DOING PHYSICALLY STRENUOUS LABOR FOR LONG HOURS, OCCASIONALLY IN EXTREME HEAT OR COLD. VARIABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS APPLY; HOURS MAY FLUCTUATE (+/-), POSSIBLE DOWNTIME AND/OR OT.
