Job Duties:

Job duties include instructing group and private ski lessons for guests of all ages and ability levels; adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs and established lesson objectives; managing personal and guest safety while working in a dynamic mountain environment; and maintaining a professional and welcoming presence on the slopes and in all guest interactions. Responsibilities also include setting up, maintaining, and breaking down designated ski school teaching areas to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Instructors are expected to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, peers, and supervisors. May be asked to work with Guest Services to assist guests by providing information, directions, and courteous service at all times; and act as brand ambassadors for Sun Valley Resort. Additional duties include attending department meetings and trainings as assigned, collaborating with mountain operations teams, and occasionally supporting the Sun Valley Race Department with course preparation and logistics.
