Job Duties:

Shovel snow, grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup and winterization of irrigation systems, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance, such as clearing roads and facilities of leaves, snow, or debris. Workers will not drive plow trucks. Workers will use hand tools, such as shovels and snow brooms, as well as powered hand held equipment such as walk behind electric or gas snow blowers. Potential for fall and spring leaf clean-up, dormant pruning, perennial planting, leaf removal and landscape bed mulching. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed.

Must be able to perform physical labor outdoors for up to 8 hours per day in all weather conditions, including cold, snow and rain. Some OT and weekends required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
