Job Duties:

Job duties may include prepare machinery for new season (machinery becomes dormant outside of season); prepare service areas and equipment; clean and prepare work areas where equipment housed; clean, sanitize, and organize the packing areas, weighing stations, and wash equipment; peeling crawfish; cleaning, trimming section of crawfish for future processing, removing parts, inspecting product for defects; weigh product, prepare for sale or consumption; mark product; sort, inspect; cleanup of worksite. Workers may assist with cleaning conveyor belts and equipment surfaces using water hoses and basic cleaning tools while equipment is shut down. All duties are routine, repetitive, and performed under the direction of a supervisor. Workers will not operate production machinery. Production equipment is operated only by designated supervisors or trained personnel. Workers will not start, control, adjust, repair, maintain, or otherwise operate processing machinery.
