Job Duties:

Sommeliers will be responsible for greeting customers, assisting in the selling of wine on the floor, organizing the wine cellar, receiving wine deliveries, inspecting and placing bottles in storage areas, conducting weekly/monthly inventory tracking and maintaining accurate records, and assisting in providing staff wine education. Sommeliers may need to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am - 6:00pm, 12:00pm - 8:00pm, or 4:00pm - 12:00am. Shift hours may vary. Special Requirements:

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of service experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Sommelier certification and previous training in liquor and wine is preferred but not required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense if not returning from the previous season.
