Job Duties:

***RFI response*** “The kinds of laundry the worker will wash” are beach/pool towels and rags. These are typically sent out to a laundry facility, but housekeeping will occasionally wash some in-house to keep up with high-volume need. “Room maintenance and deep-cleaning activities” – this consists of dusting baseboards behind furniture and under beds, wiping off scuffs on walls or doors, cleaning interior windows, dusting vents and valances in rooms, cleaning brass or silver finishes and fixtures; duties to be performed at least once per month. The tools/equipment used to perform these tasks are vacuums, brass polish/cleaner, dry-erase sponge, cloths, and general cleaning sprays and solutions. ***Original*** Housekeeping Attendants will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, public spaces and outlet common areas at The Colony Palm Beach. Position may require vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, turning down rooms upon request or during scheduled evening service, restocking carts with depleted supplies, delivering requested items to room in a timely manner, utilizing washer/dryer, and wiping all surfaces, tile, and glass. Housekeeping Attendant may be responsible for inspecting rooms prior to occupancy and reporting any maintenance issues to appropriate department. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am to 2:00pm, 8:00am to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 10:00pm or 10:00pm to 5:00am. Shift hours may vary. Please see the attached job description for additional details.
