- ***RFI response*** The positions we are seeking are required to complete the following task on the job. The workers are required to know how to calibrate fertilizer rigs in order for farmers to apply the correct fertilizer per acre. They must know how to repair, change parts, and fix gearboxes on the fertilizer rigs. Duties also consist of changing bearing and seals on all fertilizer carts and applicators. Change and or repair hydraulic pumps on the tenders, delivering the fertilizer to customers. Know how to use a cutting torch and welding machine in order to repair all fertilizer tenders, spreaders, and carts that ares owned by the Coop. The positions also require the ability and knowledge to maintenance motors on all equipment owned by the Coop. The workers' duties also include changing bearings, seals and adjusting belts on fertilizer conveyors. ***Original*** Help installation, maintenance, and repair workers in maintenance, parts replacement and repair of industrial equipment. Perform duties such as furnishing tools, materials and supplies to other workers, cleaning work area, machines and tools and holding materials or tools for other workers.
