The specific tasks that Dishwashers will perform while supporting event setup will include sorting and counting china, glassware, and flatware and gathering chafing dishes, buffet display equipment, and hot boxes and ensuring they are clean and ready for the event team to use. In addition to those mentioned above, the tools, equipment, and materials use for these tasks are polishing cloths for glassware, detergents, sanitizers, and degreasers. Dishwashers will also use dish machines and glass washers to clean dishes for events. Dishwashers will transport some of these items from the kitchen to the banquet space using bus carts, racks, and dollies.

Dishwashers will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and stewarding areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash, and ensuring all kitchens, dish areas, and storage spaces remain clean and sanitary. Dishwashers will also assist with locating kitchen equipment, organizing inventory, and supporting event setup by preparing china, glassware, tables, and buffet dry setups.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am – 6:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, or 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
