- Prepare foods and kitchen for the day; chop, cut, pull food from walk-ins, stock inventory. Prepare and cook foods/meals to order according to recipes. Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, etc.; close kitchen at the end of the night by cleaning, taking care of food and waste and shutting off all equipment
