Job Duties:

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items for a variety of service areas including the restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquets. The role follows standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. The Cook sets up and stocks stations with necessary supplies, prepares menu items using a variety of techniques, and ensures each dish is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner. The Cook maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas while monitoring food temperatures, handling food utensils and equipment properly, and adhering to food safety regulations. The Cook is also responsible for minimizing food waste, reviewing food inventory efficiently, and maximizing the cost-to-production ratio.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in warm, fast paced kitchen environment. Cooks must also be able to lift 50 pounds.Schedule is from Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday- 8-hour shift, morning shift starting at 6:00 AM and PM shift starts at 2:00PM. Schedule will change based on business needs. Wednesday and Thursday are the designated days off
