Job Duties:
Produce hard cider in accordance with company standards for food safety, proper food handling practices and sanitation; Ensure that all Federal and State Regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, weights and measures, store safety, employee safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met; follow instructions provided by the Hard Cider Maker, conforming to the schedule of tasks given by the same; Scrub and sanitize all production, inventory areas and equipment of hard cider production in accordance with GAP and HACCP requirements. This includes receiving juice and measuring the volume with a flow meter; monitoring fermentations with a hydrometer; making fermentation additions (yeast, nutrients, etc.), blending, filtering and carbonating under the supervision of the Hard Cider Maker, and palletizing finished product off the canning line. Tools, Equipment, and Materials Used: Flow meter, Hydrometer, Fermentation tanks and vessels, Yeast and fermentation nutrients, Filtration equipment, and Carbonation equipment. Wage: Basic wage rate is $27.90/hr. An overtime premium at the rate of, $41.85/hr., will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a work week. The employer may offer raises/bonuses to temporary employees hired under this job order, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and job tenure. Wages will be calculated based on a single workweek. Employees will be paid weekly. Schedule: Must be able to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am to 10 pm any day of the week, days off rotate. Shifts will vary, but an average scheduled workday can be from 8AM to 4, Mon-Fri. The expected work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week. The employer may offer more hours than specified, depending on company needs, and other conditions. On-the-job training is available. If required, the employer will provide company-exclusive uniforms and, at no charge, the tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform the assigned jobs.

Experience/Special Requirements: Must have a minimum of 12 months experience in cidery, brewery, winery or related industries. Weekends and nights are required. The individual must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to lift, stack and maneuver objects.
