- Job Duties:
- Perform manual snow removal and janitorial services for commercial properties, including clearing sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking areas, and entry paths using hand tools such as snow shovels, brooms, pushers, and hand-held or walk-behind salt spreaders to maintain safe pedestrian access. Duties also include routine cleaning of interior and exterior common areas, such as offices, lobbies, restrooms, retail spaces, entrances, walkways, and storage areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, removing litter, and clearing small debris or snow. The position requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling of janitorial equipment including mop buckets, floor scrubbers, vacuums, supply carts, and trash bins, as well as occasional use of step ladders to clean high windows, gutters, or shelves. Workers must use manual dexterity to operate standard cleaning tools and walk-behind cleaning machines, including commercial vacuums, floor polishers, and buffers. No landscaping, construction, repair work, motorized snow removal equipment, or ride-on machinery is involved.
