Job Duties:

The Production Line Operator is responsible for using hand tools to perform cutting and trimming of pork products. The specific responsibilities include: (1) Proper, safe handling and carrying of knives, including keeping knife sharp, concentration on tasks when using knives, and maintaining proper work-place spacing; (2) Follow all GMP, Food Safety/Quality and Safety rules; (3) Understand proper cuts of pork for customer specifications and yields; (4) perform safe handling and disposal of meat products; (5) Communicate any known deficiencies or issues with the product or process; and (6) Always wear required personal protective equipment when performing job.

Special Requirements:

Ability to understand proper meat cuts and weights, ability to understand food safety practices. Availability to work on Saturdays as needed. The Employer will provide on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. The Employer will provide, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The workers will be subject to drug testing upon reasonable suspicion, paid by the employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Worker may need to complete employment application provided via email or onsite.
