Job Duties:
RFI Response • Assist with the setup and removal of lightweight amusement equipment, signs, barriers, and customer queue areas using basic hand tools and following established procedures. • Guide patrons in the safe use of amusement rides, attractions, games, and recreational facilities. • Collect tickets, wristbands, fees, or admissions and provide information to customers. • Assist customers with entering, exiting, and using rides, attractions, and recreational equipment. • Operate amusement rides, games, and attractions according to established procedures. • Organize and restock customer-facing supplies, tickets, and concession items. • Sell and serve pre-packaged snacks, beverages, and refreshments to customers. • Maintain cleanliness of rides, attractions, concession areas, customer seating areas, and surrounding grounds by throwing trash from work station away and wiping down dirty surfaces with a cloth and cleaning product. Original F.a.2 May include but not limited to: - Setting up, dismantling amusement rides, fencing and signage manually or with hand tools - Properly connecting pieces, balancing and properly spacing equipment, working with a team or individually, operating typical mechanical carnival rides - Fastening safety harnesses and inspecting equipment for proper functioning - Sell tickets and collect fees from customers. - Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, or arrange for the removal of unruly patrons. -Tend amusement booths in carnivals, performing duties such as conducting games, photographing patrons, or awarding prizes- Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, or repair activities. - Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary. - Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations. - Keep informed of shut-down and emergency evacuation procedures. - Direct patrons to rides, seats, or attractions. - Attending food and games concessions by selling and serving refreshments and preparing/serving mainly ready-made food items - Cleaning/sanitizing work area and customer seating areas. - Prepare ready-made food items, such as lemonade, churros, agua fresca, ice cream, and corn dogs following specific methods that usually require short preparation time - Operate re-heating equipment, such as microwaves or heating pots to re-heat ready-made hot food items. - Use fountain dispensers to serve ready-made drinks or milkshakes.

Special Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel every 2-3 days. - If staying in employer-provided housing, must be willing and able to tolerate sleeping in trailer bunks reduced to 50 square feet of space per person with minimal cooking facilities. - Must be available entire contract period. - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to perform physical labor. - May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing. Special Requirements and Provisions: - Schedule varies (days of the week and shift times). Additional hours may be offered. May be required to work weekends. - Itinerary starts in Harris county. - Work will be performed at various locations (see list of all counties included in itinerary for reference). - Periodic daily or weekly travel. - Itinerary subject to change depending on weather and external factors. - Hourly wage is dependent upon on location. See Appendix A for details. - Employer will pay the highest of all prevailing wages for each worksite location throughout the entire period of employment. - Employer may offer a bonus depending on experience and merit. - Employer offers a ride to the primary worksite location to workers living area within a reasonable commute. - Daily Transportation is provided to all worksites from primary worksite. - Employer provides optional housing to workers who do not reside within a reasonable commute to primary worksite location. - Optional housing and transportation provided free of charge.
