Job Duties:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting. Additional duties include restock and replace used items within guest rooms. Communicate clean status of each room upon completion. Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms. Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and always well organized. Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order. Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.

Special Requirements:

This position requires strong attention to detail and customer service skills. Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time. The worker must possess the ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs. Must be available to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays and must be able to communicate effectively. Applicants must complete employment application. The work schedule is as follows: 35 hours per week, five days a week with 8-hour shifts, running from Monday Friday: 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (shifts: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM OR 8:30 AM 5:00 PM) Saturday Sunday: 8-hour shifts between 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (shifts: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM OR 9:30 AM 6:00 PM).
