Job Duties:
Review, organize, and maintain case files, legal documents, and correspondence related to H-2B temporary labor certification applications. Assist attorneys in preparing and filing applications with the Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and related supporting documentation. Gather supporting evidence required for H-2B petitions, including prevailing wage determinations, recruitment documentation, and employer attestations. Draft and proofread legal correspondence, memoranda, and supporting letters on behalf of supervising attorneys. Coordinate and track filing deadlines, case milestones, and application statuses across multiple concurrent client matters. Communicate with clients to collect required information, documents, and signatures needed to complete H-2B filings. Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for active and archived case files. Assist with preparation of responses to Requests for Evidence and Notices of Deficiency issued by government agencies. Perform administrative support tasks related to legal operations, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence management.

Special Requirements:
Basic English skills required. Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field required. Minimum 24 months of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a closely related position required. Knowledge of immigration law and H-2B temporary labor certification processes preferred. Must be able to lift and carry weights sufficient to move files and materials necessary to complete assigned tasks. Use of office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and legal case management software. 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM. Schedule may vary and can include evenings, weekends, or holidays, as needed. Employer will rely on worker's own representations and observations of worker to assess if worker meets the physical ability requirements stated here.
