- Job Duties:
- Snow removal by hand shoveling, snow plowing, salt spreading by hand, salt spreading by truck, perennial plant cut back, seasonal decoration hanging and removal for residential clients. Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. Winterize summer equipment and prep spring equipment. Snow removal by hand shoveling, snow plowing, salt spreading by hand, salt spreading by truck, perennial plant cut back, seasonal decoration hanging and removal for residential clients. Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. Winterize summer equipment and prep spring equipment. With regards to the employees' action of the snow plowing the employees will perform the following: The employees will shovel snow by hand using show shovels and/or by using a walk behind snow blower. The employees will remove snow on walkways, driveways, sidewalks in both residential and commercial properties. The employees will remove snow in front of garages using shovels. Please be advised that the employees will NOT be using a truck with a plow to remove snow. The snow removal will only be removed via hand shoveling and walk-behind snow blower. With regards to the employees' action of the spreading of salt the employees will spread salt by hand and by using a salt truck. Please note that the salt truck does not contain a plow and will not be used for snow plowing. Salt will be spread on both residential and commercial properties. It will be spread on sidewalks, driveways and walkways. With regards to the employees' action of the hanging/removal of holiday decorations the employees will hang outdoor seasonal lights. garlands. wreaths. tree decorations and lights and removable yard decorations such as Christmas, nativity and animals.
