- ***RFI response*** With regard to the job duties of “Trim and thin deadwood dormant ornamental hard and softwood trees to promote vigorous growth,” all work is performed from the ground and there is no use of aerial equipment or climbing of trees. ***Original*** Trim and thin deadwood dormant ornamental hard and softwood trees to promote vigorous growth. Tools used include pole saws, pole pruners, hand saws, chain saws and a limb shredder/chipper.
