Job Duties:

Room Attendant clean and maintain guest rooms, condominiums, villas, cottages, suites, and resort homes in a fast-paced resort environment. Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring accommodations and assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, organized, and maintained according to company standards. This position supports daily resort operations by providing clean, safe, and properly prepared accommodations for guests and owners. Accommodations may include large multi-bedroom condominiums, villas, and resort homes that require efficient cleaning within established productivity standards. Job duties include the following: • Clean and service assigned guest rooms, condominiums, villas, cottages, suites, resort homes, and public areas according to company standards • Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room supplies and amenities • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and clean assigned areas thoroughly • Clean bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, patios, hallways, stairways, and common areas • Remove trash, used linens, and debris from guest accommodations and work areas • Clean large multi-bedroom condominiums, villas, cottages, and resort homes efficiently within established productivity standards • Move, lift, push, pull, and reposition furniture, mattresses, linens, and housekeeping equipment as part of daily cleaning responsibilities • Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, or missing items to management • Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply areas • Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools according to safety procedures • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift • Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests when necessary • Follow company safety standards, sanitation procedures, and emergency procedures • Assignments may be completed individually or as part of a housekeeping team depending on operational needs 35 hours of work per week. Normal shifts: 8:30am – 5:00 pm. Resort is open 7 days a week. Workdays and shift times will vary. Shifts vary based on business levels, occupancy, and scheduled events. Holiday and weekend shifts are required. $21 per hour and $31.50 per hour for OT when available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. All applicants (US workers and foreign workers) must complete criminal background check prior to start of employment. On the job training is not required but will be provided if necessary.

Must be able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing stairs, and repetitive movements required. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to move mattresses, flip bedding, and reposition furniture during cleaning assignments. Must be able to clean large multi-bedroom accommodations efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, humidity, heat, and outdoor conditions.
