Job Duties:

***RFI response*** The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper at One & Only Moonlight Basin, is to provide quality service in all Guest Rooms, pu blic areas, and Heart of House (employee only work areas) spaces. The housekeeping team also assists in the Laundry Facility. The laundry facility processes the sheets, towels, bathroom floor mats, hand towels, wash cloths, bathrobes, and bedding for the guest rooms, member homes, and the spa. The Housekeeping team ensures that linens, towels, and other supplies are distributed to the correct storage areas and/or to Linen rooms. During low occupancy times the housekeeping team will assist in the laundry facility, reviewing inventory, restocking supplies and checking the quality of linen. All Housekeepers will be trained to process laundry (operating commercial washing machines, large scale dryers, steam presses, and wheeled laundry bins) in order to be sufficiently cross trained and to assist the laundry team in times of heavy occupancy; laundry will not be a consistent function of their job duty. Outdoor housekeeping tasks include sweeping patios, balconies, porches, entryways, and walkways; wiping and sanitizing outdoor furniture; emptying outdoor trash receptacles; straightening furniture; and spot cleaning exterior glass doors, windows, and railings. The tools, equipment, and materials used include brooms, dustpans, microfiber cloths, mops, buckets, spray bottles, housekeeping carts, trash bags, glass cleaner, non-hazardous cleaning and sanitizing solutions, and lightweight cordless or handheld vacuums. ***Original*** Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain hotel guest rooms or property private residences, public areas, and other property buildings, in a clean and orderly manner. May assist with laundry duties when required. Duties may include making beds, cleaning and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, stocking and organizing, sanitizing, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. Some outdoor spaces included. Ensures that all rooms are secured upon leaving the guest room. Stocks, organizes, and maintains service closets and carts according to standards and procedures before, during and after shift. Inspects room upon cleaning by touch, sight, sound, and smell and ensures room is thoroughly cleaned and ready for occupancy. May also assist with housekeeping duties at Colleague Housing which includes public areas, cleaning rooms and other spaces within the building. Completes paperwork neatly, thoroughly, and accurately. Works productively and efficiently with or without supervision when performing routine tasks.

Must communicate in a clear and congenial manner, with our guests, visitors, and employees. Must be able to Hear verbal instructions, directions, and warnings. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, and flex arms, walk up and down stairs/inclines, sit, climb up/down ladders, or stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high performance standards, and the ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs.
