Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** 1. The vehicles and equipment consist of company vehicles, industrial machinery, and electrical and electronic equipment that are brought into or located within the employer's maintenance shop for maintenance, parts replacement, or repair by experienced maintenance and repair workers. 2. Workers assist experienced maintenance and repair workers by furnishing and transporting tools, parts, materials, and supplies; holding parts and equipment in position for other workers; cleaning work areas, machines, equipment, and components; sanding and preparing components; applying lubricants; and providing other basic physical assistance during parts replacement and repair. 3. Workers do not independently maintain, diagnose, service, or repair diesel engines or diesel machinery; if equipment containing a diesel engine requires maintenance or repair, the worker's duties are limited to providing general helper assistance such as furnishing tools and materials, holding or positioning parts, and cleaning or preparing components for the experienced maintenance and repair worker. 4. The work is performed in the employer's maintenance shop and equipment storage yard where workers provide general helper support to experienced installation, maintenance, and repair workers. 5. Workers may use general shop hoists to assist with holding or positioning parts and equipment for experienced maintenance and repair workers during maintenance, parts replacement, or repair; workers do not perform specialized rigging or independent hoisting operations. ***Original F.a.2*** Assist installation, maintenance, and repair workers with parts replacement and repair of vehicles, industrial machinery, and electrical and electronic equipment; furnish and transport tools, materials, and supplies; hold parts and equipment in position for other workers; clean work areas, machines, and equipment; sand, prep, and lubricate components. Use hand tools, power tools, dollies, hoists, sandpaper, lubricants, and cleaning rags.

- Must be available entire contract period. - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to perform physical labor - Must display manual dexterity - May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing. Special Requirements and Provisions: - Schedule varies (days of the week and shift times). Additional hours may be offered. May be required to work weekends. - Employer may offer a bonus depending on experience and merit. - Employer does not provide transportation from workers' residencies to the primary worksite. - Employer provides optional housing to workers who do not reside within a reasonable commute to primary worksite location at no expense to the workers.
