Job Duties:

Workers will perform commercial and residential maintenance including fall/winter storm and trash cleanup, shovel, throw, plow snow and dormant tree/shrub winter pruning. Chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walkways. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Workers will also apply lawn winterizer as part of winterization process. Apply winter mulch to grounds and common areas to control erosion, prevent debris accumulation, and maintain safe walkways and property access points during winter months. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovel, rake, plow, snow thrower, salt spreader, and ice chippers.

Special Requirements:

Requires three months of previous maintenance experience. Standard workweek is four 10 hour days per week. Fri & Sat work when necessary. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Extreme temperature, and/or weather conditions may affect exact working hours.
