Job Duties:
Multiple contract dates available. Alternative start date(s) include: 04/01/2026 (3 workers). The exact start date and/or number of workers may vary based on weather, crop conditions or other factors. Crops/Commodities: Livestock. Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Multiple contract start dates available. Alternative start dates include: 04/01/2026 (3 workers) Perform manual duties associated with raising livestock. Feed and water livestock. Bottle feed select groups of livestock. Herd livestock to pasture for grazing. Herd animals in to corral and or stall. Check livestock for injuries and diseases. Administer vaccinations, medications, and insecticides to livestock as appropriate. Perform fence checks daily. Repair and Maintain fences used to control the herd. Remove and haul manure for corrals and stalls. Deliver Hay to calves daily. Assist with farm building maintenance. General maintenance on farm equipment. Power wash equipment such as manure spreaders, loaders and other machinery. Pick up rocks from fields. Clean out stalls with shovels and wheel barrel. Discard of waste animal feed. Stack 50lb bags of feed onto pallets. Supervisor(s) will provide instructions and directions to workers. Workers must be able to comprehend and follow instructions and communicate effectively to supervisors. Unusual, complex, or non-routine activities will be supervised. Workers expected to perform basic duties in a proficient manner without close supervision. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, honeybees, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related chemicals may affect a worker's ability to perform the job. Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer. All Primary Duties are entry-level and require close supervision and/or a short-demonstration of the task by a more experienced worker. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on a worker's Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time. Workers will have an unpaid lunch break. TERMINATION. Prior to any termination for cause, employer evaluates workers' performance of required tasks and compliance with Work Rules and other employer policies. Employer may terminate a worker for cause if the worker's performance consistently and/or substantially fails to satisfy the employer's reasonable expectations (in accordance with the criteria set forth herein), or otherwise engages in serious or egregious misconduct that endangers health, safety, or property. In assessing whether workers' performance meets reasonable expectations, employer evaluates, among other reasonable criteria, whether the worker: (1) has adequately complied with the Work Rules and any other policies or procedures; (2) has complied with all health and safety guidelines, including the use of tools or equipment in accordance with best practices to protect the employer's property, crops, and in a manner that avoids injury or damage; (3) has treated company property (tools, equipment, crops, fixtures, etc.

Special Requirements:
2 months verbal experience working with cattle Must be able to lift/carry 60 lbs. Tasks involve repetitive standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. Work in unfavorable conditions such as high temperatures, wet or dry/dusty conditions and general summertime adversity. Must be 18 or older. Employer is a drug free workplace. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing is required after a worker has an accident at work.
