Job Duties:

We are around 5000 acres center pivot alfalfa, potato, tricticale, and canola farming operation. Our equipment consist primarily of John Deere and specialty potato equipment for harvesting and storing potatoes. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, GPS guidance systems, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: canola, hay, potatoes. Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and any subsequent Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Orders (COMPS order) . Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.

Special Requirements:

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
