- Job Duties:
- We need a seasonal employee to assist with our beekeeping operation. The employee will help with the harvest and processing of honey and will perform all aspects of caring for the bees, including maintaining bee health, inspecting hives, monitoring for pests and diseases, feeding bees when necessary, managing hive populations, and assisting with honey collection. The employee will also build, repair, and maintain brood boxes and other hive equipment using general tools, extract and filter honey, label and package honey products, and maintain accurate records of hive activity and production. Candidates must not be allergic to bees. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
