Job Duties:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Crop Production Farm Worker to assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, and transporting a variety of crops including hay, corn, soybeans, wheat, sunflower, and alfalfa. Responsibilities include performing general field work such as tilling, disking, fertilizing, spraying, and preparing seedbeds; planting and harvesting crops; and baling hay. The position also requires operating farm equipment such as tractors, planters, seed drills, balers, and loaders, as well as hauling crops and materials and loading and unloading seed, fertilizer, and harvested products. Employees will monitor crop conditions throughout the growing season and help maintain and service equipment as needed. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, able to lift at least 50 pounds, and willing to work extended hours during peak planting and harvest seasons. Previous farm or equipment operation experience is preferred, along with a strong work ethic, attention to safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Operate towed machines such as manure spreaders to plant fertilize, dust and spray crops. Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
