Job Duties:
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle to winter pasture in November/December. Feeding Hay to four different herds of cattle. Operating and maintaining a portable feed grinder/mixer. Processing and grinding milo/corn for feed that comes from our grain bin facility and transporting to cattle feeders in several different pastures. Feeding mineral and salt supplements. Hand carrying buckets of feed to smaller groups of cattle. Operating and maintaining the tractor utilize to feed round bales of hay. Removing and disposing of net wrap on the 500+ round bales of hay. Weaning yearling calves in November/December. Working and vaccinating cattle (November and March). Inspect cattle for illness/injury. Maintaining fences around pastures. Breaking ice in water tanks and ponds. Shipping calves to market. Getting hay equipment ready for summertime hay cuttings. Spread fertilizer on pastures and hay fields. Cut and bale hay. Haul hay to storage areas. Bush hog pasture. Crops: Beef Cattle. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.

Special Requirements:
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion. Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality, and work schedules, as repeated absenteeism, failure to meet job expectations, misconduct, insubordination, or violations of safety protocols may result in termination.
