- LCP Hyannis EMP LLC, dba Anchor In, seeks Housekeepers, 4 openings, Temporary full-time positions from 4/1/24 to 10/31/24 in Hyannis, MA. Housekeepers: Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, make beds, vacuum, clean windows, decks, patios and keep public areas of Inn clean. Launder and fold sheets and towels. Must be able to go up and down stairs, no elevator on premises. Must also carry supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. No experience necessary; will train. Workers will be paid no less than $18.71 per hour. Returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates up to $18.91 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate ranging from $28.07 to $28.37 per hour. Generally: min. of 36 hours per week, on average 6 hours per workday and 6 work days per week. Weekends and holidays required. Various shifts are available but normally 9am-3pm, 11am-7pm, or 12pm-8pm daily. Conditions of employment for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transportation to begin the seasonal/peak employment (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence will be at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. 2. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. 3. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting each Friday at 12:00 am and ending Thursday 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid weekly. 5. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 6. Optional, limited seasonal lodging is available, first come first served $250 monthly, pursuant to voluntary written agreement (not deducted from payroll). 7. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. 8. Employees with more experience, or returning employees, may be offered a higher wage rate.
