- Job Duties:
- Preparation of (Mexican) food: salsas; meats, vegetables and fruits; fresh beverages; marinades; and other basic ingredients. Blending, chopping, slicing, cleaning, peeling, dicing, using basic kitchen equipment. Cooking of all types: grilling, frying, baking, sauteing, braising, boiling, steaming, roasting, portioning, re-heating. Meal assembly and plating: burritos, tacos, tamales, enchiladas, tortas, weekly specials, and more. Includes preparing kitchen and foods for the day, starting equipment, gathering ingredients, cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, etc., closing kitchen at the end of day by cleaning, taking care of extra food/waste, shutting off equipment.

This position is for 40 or more (40+) hours per week as indicated in the job order). Shifts available/assigned: Sunday-Monday (2 days off, varies), shifts as early as 9 AM and end as late as 11 PM (multiple shifts available, varies, typically 9 AM-4 PM and 4 PM-11 PM, one shift five days per week, and each cook may choose to work additional hours by adding another shift in a given day).
