Job Duties:
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, which includes making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors. Practice positive guest relations by demonstrating Western States Lodging & Management and Red Cliffs Lodge hospitality and service standards. Replace used linens, towels, and toiletries with fresh ones. Ensure each room is adequately stocked with clean towels, bed sheets, pillowcases, and other amenities. Organize and restock supplies in guest rooms, such as coffee, tea, cups, and toiletries. Ensure that items are neatly arranged and readily available for guests' use. Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department, including problems with plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, or any other items that need attention. Promptly respond to guest requests for additional supplies, such as extra towels or pillows, and ensure that the guest's needs are met to the best of their ability. Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and themselves, including handling cleaning chemicals appropriately, using equipment safely, and reporting any suspicious activities or items found in guest rooms. May also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas of the hotel, such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and lounges; ensure that these areas are kept clean, presentable, and free from clutter.

Special Requirements:
Three months of experience as a Housekeeper or related occupation where the required experience was gained. Frequent walking and standing. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach. Ability to use correct body mechanics and lifting principles to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds or less. Ability to effectively and positively communicate with clients, guests, supervisors, and co-workers to express ideas, describe requirements, and negotiate outcomes. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other hotel staff, such as front desk personnel and maintenance technicians, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively to complete their assigned tasks within the allotted time frame. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays, as necessary. Position also requires Min. 40hrs/week - Multiple Shifts (5 rotating days including weekends based upon occupancy): 8am-4pm, and 2pm-10pm. Temporary workers are eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental and vision insurance programs; paid time off (PTO); travel benefits; use of gym; and employee discounts on meals and retail items. Housing is optional. If elected, cost at approx. $500 to $1600 per month (including utilities and excluding Wi-Fi/cable) depending on the unit, paid to the employer directly, no housing deductions from the paycheck. If not elected, the employer will assist in finding alternative housing. Daily transportation to and from worksite provided, no transportation deductions from the paycheck. All deductions from workers paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will reimburse H2B worker in 1st pay period for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees). Air transport to place of employment will be provided at no cost to worker (air travel paid upfront); ground expenses & subsistence costs will be reimbursed to worker during 1st pay period. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46/day during travel to a max $59.00/day w/receipts. If worker does not complete at least 1/2 of employment period worker is expected to refund employer. Return transport will be provided if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
