- Job Duties:
- Duties may include: Perform any combination of housekeeping cleaning duties to maintain establishment(s) in a clean, orderly manner. Carry linens, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. Disinfect equipment, supplies, use germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Clean rooms, restrooms, hallways and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty-clean ashtrays, transport other trash, waste to disposal areas. Report damage, theft and or left behind articles. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, use vacuum cleaners, shampooers. Dust, polish furniture, equipment. Keep storage areas & carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, woodwork, wax, polish as necessary & other related Housekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 37-2012 (onetonline.org). Multiple possible shifts: 7:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM. Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM. Offering 35+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Employees can be expected to work various shifts, which may include day shift, swing shift, and/or graveyard shift. Weekly schedule may vary. Shifts include times outlined above as well as graveyard shift from 11:00PM-7:00AM. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
