- Ensure guest accommodations are clean. Monitor and report the quantity and quality of performance as per the company housekeeping standards. Visually inspects rooms/units to ensure they meet standards and correct any deficiencies. Maintain multiple accommodation rental units in a clean and orderly manner. Clean guest room accommodations, change all towels and bed linen even when it appears to be unused, including sofa beds. Make beds. Use vacuum cleaner to clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, dust, empty and clean trash can, transport trash and waste to disposal, using broom, vacuum and mop to clean floors, clean bathrooms, collect and separate soiled linens for laundering and transport them to the designated area, replenish amenities and supplies, keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy, clean mirrors, windows and door panels and frames, load and unload dishes from dishwasher, dry dishes and organize and put them away, clean kitchens, halls, and all public area spaces. Remove, sort, count, fold, separate, carry, and replace linens, mark clean linens and store them in linen closets, unload cart; run sheets through ironer and towels through towel folder. Change lightbulbs as needed. Answer phone and assign duties to other staff and give instructions regarding work methods and routines. Report safety hazards, accidents and injuries as soon as they occur. Report damages to the supervisor and attend departmental meetings. Non-supervisory role.
The employer will offer 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shifts: 8am-4:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, 4pm-12:30am. Shift includes 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy, weather and events.
Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure.
Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $23.22 per hour.
The employer’s offered housing is within walking distance of all assigned worksites.
