Job Duties:

To serve/deliver food and beverage products to guests; assist with set-up and opening/closing of restaurant/food and beverage area; prepare sidework; greet guests, take guest order, advise kitchen personnel of items ordered, serve/deliver requested items, present check to guest and clear table. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Hotel is open 7 days a week, workdays vary Sunday-Saturday. Multiple shifts between 6:30am-11:30pm. Shift times: 6:30am-3pm; 3pm-11:30pm. Shift includes 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours and shift time may vary depending on occupancy. Basic wage rate: $18.28 per hour. Tip position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Employer will guarantee offered wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the offered wage of $18.28 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $27.42 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid biweekly.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift 35 lbs and push/pull equipment in excess of 75 lbs. Must be at least 18 years old. Post-employment criminal background check and drug test required, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. Applicants must complete an employment application. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time; must be able to reach, stoop, lift, bend and use stairs. Uniform provided at no charge to the worker.
