- Duties include the following: deliver exceptional, personalized service to all guests and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction; support operations when needed; oversee reservations, check-in and check-out, housekeeping schedules, and dining services; maintain smooth day-to-day functioning; monitor budgets, track expenses, and manage revenue streams to ensure profitability; coordinate repairs, maintain facilities, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards; promote the hotel through local partnerships, social media, and events to build reputation and attract guests; manage supplies for rooms, amenities, and food service to prevent shortage or waste; and, be available on-site to handle urgent guest needs or property issues quickly and effectively.
