Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** At the direction of the Kitchen Manager, assist with the preparation' and service of three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), plus snacks, for the camp population, including breakfast items such as eggs scrambled, fried, or boiled), toast, and fresh and canned fruit; lunch and dinner items such as soups, pasta, rice, bread, and steamed or sautéed vegetables (green beans, carrots, corn, broccoli, and potatoes); and desserts such as cakes, brownies, cookies, puddings, and cobblers. Cook, prepare, season a variety of food, including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts, using a stove, oven, and pans, applying methods such as boiling, simmering, roasting, baking, sautéing, and steaming. Ensure quality, consistency, and proper presentation of all menu items. Clean dishes. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and appliances (cleaning duties only; no mechanical repairs required).
