**RFI Response** 1. **Meal Assistance & Kitchen Support Duties**: The employee will assist with light meal preparation, service, and kitchen maintenance as follows: - **Food Preparation**: - Assemble cold food items (e.g., sandwiches, salads, fruit plates) under supervision. - Portion beverages, condiments, and pre-cooked items for service. - **Meal Service**: - Set up buffet stations or dining areas with utensils, napkins, and food. - Replenish food items during meal periods and clear dishes/utensils post-service. - **Dishwashing & Sanitation**: - Operate commercial dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans. - Manually scrub items as needed, then sanitize and air-dry. - Maintain dish station cleanliness, empty trash bins, and mop kitchen floors. - Ensure compliance with health/safety standards (e.g., sanitizing surfaces, organizing storage). 2. **Lodge Attendant Duties**: The employee will perform comprehensive housekeeping and facility maintenance, including: - **Guest Room Cleaning**: - Change bed linens, replace towels, and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks). - Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and restock guest amenities (soap, toilet paper, etc.). - **Laundry Operations**: - Collect soiled linens/towels from guest rooms and transport to laundry facility. - Operate washers/dryers, fold clean linens, and prepare for reuse. - **Exterior & Common Area Maintenance**: - Sweep, hose, and remove debris from outdoor patios, walkways, and entryways. - Wipe down outdoor furniture and ensure guest areas are tidy and hazard-free. - Assist with seasonal tasks (e.g., shoveling snow, clearing leaves). Summary of Core Responsibilities: This dual-role position ensures seamless guest services by: - Supporting meal operations (prep, service, dishwashing). - Maintaining lodge cleanliness (rooms, patios, common areas). - Managing laundry cycles and exterior upkeep. **Original Response** The Lodging Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests at a small hunting lodge. This role includes housekeeping, basic maintenance, hospitality services, and guest assistance to enhance the guest experience during hunting season or other seasonal activities. Guest services include greeting and checking in guests upon arrival; providing lodge orientation, assist guests with luggage and transport to cabins/rooms, provide information on hunting areas, lodge amenities, local regulations, and safety, address guest needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally, assist in serving meals or refreshments, as needed. Housekeeping and maintenance duties include cleaning guest rooms/cabins, bathrooms, common areas, and dining spaces, Changning linens, making beds, restocking towels and amenities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor areas and conducting light maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, clearing paths), report larger maintenance issues to manager or owner. Kitchen Support: Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation or serving of light meals, such as sandwiches and salads. Help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces, and dispose of trash. Logistics and inventory: Track and restock cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and other everyday items such as toiletries, prepare lodge and rooms before guest arrival, and clean up after guest departure, maintain basic inventory logs of supplies, and notify management when low on supplies.
