Job Duties:

• Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies. • Investigate and resolve customer complaints • Maintain food and equipment inventories • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. • Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations • Count money and make bank deposits. • Establish standards • Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary. • Greet guests, escort them to their seats, and present them with menus and wine lists. • Schedule staff hours and assign duties • Arrange for equipment maintenance and repair • Review menus- costing • Organize and direct worker training programs, • Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. • Assess staffing needs and recruit staff • Order and purchase equipment and supplies. • Record and monitor sales • Ensure liquor regulations are obeyed. • Monitor budgets and payroll records • Schedule use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with clients. • Plan menus and food utilization • Establish and enforce nutritional standards

Special Requirements:

Must have or be able to obtain current CA Food Handlers Manager Card. 6 months experience in the front of house. Must be capable of walking or standing 95% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. On-The-Job Training Is Provided. Days and Shifts: Following Shifts are available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 7:00am to 3:30pm, 9:00am to 5:30pm, 11:00am to 7:30pm and 3:00pm to 11:30pm, shift hours may vary based on the time of the season, daylight, and need. Wage Per Hour: $23.93-$32.96 (Based on merit and past experience with our company) Possible Wage Increase: Palisades Tahoe offers pay raises based on merit and past experience with our company. Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $35.90 - $49.44 per hour Fringe Benefits: Ski Pass, Shift Meals, 50% F&B Discount and 30% Retail Discount
