Job Duties:
***RFI response*** Related cleaning/kitchen support means sanitation only: wiping stainless steel prep surfaces, counters, shelving, and equipment exteriors; cleaning floor drains and mats; restocking handwashing stations; cleaning restroom surfaces/floors as directed; removing trash, recycling, and food waste. No food prep, cooking, plating, assembly, or guest service. Event duties are dishwashing and sanitation support only: transporting clean dishes, glassware, flatware, and serving platters to event staging areas; setting bus tubs, dish racks, and sanitizer buckets; collecting, sorting, washing, and storing used serviceware during and after events; cleaning dish areas and mopping floors; removing trash/food waste. Tools/equipment: dish machines, sinks, spray nozzles, dish racks, bus tubs, rolling carts, scrub brushes, sanitizer, degreasers, mops, brooms, gloves, trash bins. Work occurs in private club commercial kitchens, dishwashing areas, adjacent back-of-house support spaces, and for event collection from banquet rooms, dining rooms, and outdoor event areas. ***Original*** • Sort, scrape, and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. • Load items into dishwashing machines or wash items by hand as required. • Unload, stack, and properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. • Rewash items that are not properly cleaned before storage or use. • Change dishwashing machine water and cleaning solutions as required. • Wash pots, pans, trays, and kitchen tools by hand. • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, machines, racks, and floors. • Clean and roll or unroll floor mats. • Set up and break down the dishwashing station at the beginning and end of assigned shifts. • Clean and change dishwashing machine water and cleaning solutions at least once every hour or more frequently as required by sanitation standards. • Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions. • Sweep and mop kitchen floors and wipe up spills to prevent slipping hazards. • Remove trash and garbage to designated dumpsters. • Maintain the area around garbage areas to ensure safety and cleanliness. • Perform general cleaning tasks in kitchen, dining, or restroom areas as directed. • Assemble and disassemble dishwashing equipment for cleaning. • Monitor dishwashing machine temperatures and report issues to management. • Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures, including proper handwashing. • Perform related cleaning and kitchen support duties as assigned. • Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for food and beverage events and private functions.

This position operates in a private club setting within a commercial kitchen environment. The employee also works in a hot, humid, and noisy environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The kitchen floor may be slippery from moisture and grease. This role routinely uses sinks, dishwashers, and tools to clean kitchen appliances. Employees in this role are frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, garbage disposal, and cleaning chemicals. The employee may be exposed to hazards, including, but not limited to, cuts, slips, trips, falls, and burns. Frequent hand washing is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing and moving for an extended period. It also requires walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching, twisting, reaching, and continuous repetitive motions. The role may need to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 75 lbs on a wheeled cart. May require moving between in and outdoor environments and frequently reaching overhead. Arm strength and coordination must be sufficient to carry plates of food, glasses, and bottles and serve from large trays. Additional Wage Information:
Overtime may be available and, if worked, will be paid at a rate of $26.09 to $27.75 per hour (time and one-half the regular rate of $17.39 to $18.50 per hour) for hours worked over forty (40) in a workweek (Monday through Sunday). Raises and bonuses are available based on performance or length of service with the employer. Free meals are provided to employees while on duty. Optional medical and vision benefits are available to employees whose expected period of employment exceeds six (6) months. An optional 401(k) retirement plan is available to eligible employees following 30 days of continuous employment. Optional shared employee housing is available for workers relocating to begin employment. If accepted, the cost of housing is $650.00 per month plus a refundable up-front security deposit of $350.00. Daily transportation to and from the worksite is provided at no charge to workers who elect to stay in the optional assisted housing. All other employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the worksite. Transportation is provided to all workers to and from the airport upon arrival and to their respective housing units at no charge.
