Job Duties:

***2nd RFI response*** The worker will perform general custodial cleaning duties to maintain company buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Specific tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets and rugs, dusting surfaces, cleaning windows and glass surfaces, emptying trash receptacles, removing debris, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing restroom supplies. Tools, equipment, and materials used to perform these duties include brooms, mops, buckets, dustpans, vacuum cleaners, cleaning cloths, sponges, paper towels, trash bags, and employer-provided cleaning supplies such as glass cleaners, disinfectants, restroom cleaners, and general-purpose cleaning solutions. ***1st RFI response*** The reference to “minor paint touchups and maintenance/adjustments of structural/grounds features” refers to basic facility maintenance and custodial upkeep performed to maintain company buildings and surrounding premises in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Specific duties include: • Performing minor paint touchups on existing interior and exterior building surfaces where normal wear, scuffing, or chipping has occurred. Tasks are limited to spot painting and surface touchups. Tools and materials used include paint brushes, rollers, paint trays, ladders (as needed), rags, drop cloths, and employer-provided paint and primer. • Performing basic maintenance adjustments involving non-structural building and grounds features, such as tightening or re-securing loose fixtures, signage, gates, latches, and hardware. Tools used include screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrenches, hammers, and standard fasteners such as screws, nails, and brackets. • Performing basic exterior upkeep of facility-adjacent grounds areas as needed to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of premises, including mowing grass, removing weeds, and watering existing vegetation. Equipment used includes push mowers, hand-held weed removal tools, hoses, and standard watering attachments. The worker will also perform general custodial and maintenance support duties, including maintaining cleanliness of buildings and surrounding areas, conducting daily safety checks of tools and equipment, reporting repair needs to supervisors, and completing daily handwritten activity reports. Work is performed at multiple properties in Santa Paula and Fillmore, California. ***Original*** Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Duties to include the maintenance and upkeep of all company buildings (i.e., assist with minor paint touchups and maintenance/adjustments of structural/grounds features). Assisting with keeping the grounds maintained by mowing, weeding, and watering as needed. Responsible for proper use and care of material and tools used in the performance of tasks/duties. Will perform daily safety checks on all tools and equipment used and will report needed repairs to supervisor. Must comply with all company rules and regulations. Complete daily handwritten reports. Perform duties as directed by the supervisor or company management. Work is performed in multiple properties in Santa Paula and Fillmore, CA.
